Mondays, March 2, 16 & 30. This class introduces this gentle movement exercise designed to improve balance and help relieve stress. Ability to stand unassisted for a minimum of one hour and moderate balance is required. Wear comfortable clothing and flexible shoes. Class size is limited.

 



Victorville - Eat Better, Move More Program

Tuesdays, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 & April 7. This Program is a *FREE six week exercise and nutrition program for local seniors. It is open to the public and sponsored by the Department of Aging and Adult Services and the Department of Public Health. Participants learn various tips for increasing movement, improving balance, hand-eye coordination, flexibility and fall prevention. Healthy eating tips about fiber fitness, nutrition label reading, protein, fruits and vegetables are also covered as well as medication management and more!

Wednesdays, March 4, 11, 18 & 25. This class is for seniors that have a desire to improve their skeletal muscle strength, muscle flexibility and balance. All three components are essential to maintain quality of life during the aging process. Resistance exercises are a major part of this calss. Class size is limited. Wear comfortable shoes.

 



Banning - Beginning Tai Chi (4 part series) New attendees only!

This is a great class for people with arthritis or other painful joint conditions. To obtain the best benefit all four weeks should be attended. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
